June Mom's Night Out

Chocolate Making at the Cake Cottage
Monday, June 15, 7:00 - 9:00
Cost: $22.00
We need a minimum of 10 moms in order to do the class. We will make all kinds of chocolates, and we are sure to leave with lots of samples to take home after the evening is over. Please e-mail Kris Marsheck directly at kmarsheck[a]aol.com and let her know if you are interested. She will have to collect the monies ahead of time as the Cake Cottage wants to be assured there is commitment. We will talk again on Monday--bring your checkbook or cash .

Last Meeting

Well, summer is almost here, and so is our final MOPS meeting until the fall.
June 8 @9:30AM.

We are going to have a "Tea" party of sorts, so everyone please bring a snack to share....small sandwiches, fruit, veggies & dip, cheese and crackers, chocolate, cakes or breads, etc. We will provide the china, tea, coffee and other drinks. Also, come prepared to share with the group some ways that MOPS has helped you in your "Adventures in Mothering" this year. If you don't like to talk in front of people, just send me an e-mail and I can share it with the group :)

We will be honoring our childcare workers during the last half hour of the meeting...they mean so much to us!! Without them, we wouldn't be able to have our two hours of much needed "Mommy" time: conversation with other moms, learning more about mothering, praying for each other and sometimes just laughing and making a simple craft.

The children, weather permitting, will be having some "Water Fun!" so please pack a swimsuit, swim diaper, change of clothes and towel. You may want to bring an extra swimsuit or swim diaper just in case someone new comes or someone forgets theirs!!
